OUR FOUNDERS' STORY

Built from experience. Shaped by care. Created with love.

SOAR Care began with a shared understanding of what it means to care for the people we love.

Founders, SOAR Care

SOAR Care began with something we both understood long before we ever thought about building an app: caring for the people we love.

For Stephanee, that became deeply personal when she returned home to care full-time for her dad. Being his daughter and his caregiver showed her just how much families carry, not only emotionally, but in the appointments, information, decisions and everyday responsibilities that come with caring for someone you love.

For Crystal, caring had been part of her life from a young age. Through her parents, grandparents, children and wider ʻānau, she had spent years being the person who showed up, helped, organised and cared.

Our experiences were different, but our hearts had been shaped by the same thing: love expressed through care.

After more than 20 years of friendship, God brought our paths together again with a shared purpose: to use what we had lived and learned to make the caregiving journey a little easier for someone else.

SOAR Care is our way of doing that.

Not replacing the human side of care, but helping carry some of what surrounds it, so caregivers can spend more time simply being family.

We give God the glory for bringing us this far, and we carry with us the love, faith and values passed down through our own ʻānau.
